Donovan W. Carter is an NBA and FIBA player agent with over eight years of experience in the sports industry. Before his career in sports, Donovan served in the Navy as a medic for several years. After his service, he obtained a Bachelor's degree from Florida International University, with a concentration in analytics. As a student, he also gave back to the community by coaching in the Miami Dade Public School System. Donovan's career in sports began with a stint in the American Basketball League, where he focused on job placement for players in FIBA. He then went on to complete an internship with ISM Sports Agency as a marketing intern, gaining valuable industry experience. Donovan has worked in various marketing capacities, including a CMO position for a Florida Hot Tub & Sauna, where he oversaw marketing efforts for steam showers in the Hard Rock Hotel, totaling $10.7 million. He also worked in the research and development department for Oster Blender as a data analyst, bringing his expertise in analytics to the forefront of his work. With his diverse skill set and experience, Donovan has become a trusted agent and a valuable asset to his clients in the sports industry.
